Pursuit’s 2019 Holiday Gift Guide

Ho-ho-ho … the countdown has officially begun to the holidays, and before we know it, it’s time to start shopping! Well, per usual Pursuit has got you covered with some fab ideas to give your loved ones. All of these are classy, but won’t break the bank.

We checked this stuff out ourselves, and can vouch for all of them.

a new cruelty-free parka line called Woodpecker

Keep warmer as the weather starts to change, with an animal-friendly coat. Will Poho, a long time coat designer and manufacturer, is back with a new cruelty-free parka line called Woodpecker, good for guys or dolls (left). According to Will Poho, “We respect animals, and we refuse to use down and fur in our products.”

Treat your woman to a gift certificate for a great line of skin care products! Each Elizabeth Grant product contains the company’s exclusive anti-aging compound, Torricelumn. Torricelumn is a blend of vitamins, proteins, botanicals, and antioxidants that penetrate deep into the skin, making it appear firmer, smoother, and younger looking. Their Collagen Re-Inforce with Snow Algae Collection helps smooth the skin, promote collagen production, and boost hydration.

Want to get cozier with your significant other? Canadian made, beautifully crafted, and amazingly comfortable, Endy Mattresses are engineered for maximum comfort to give you a better night’s sleep.

Endy also offers a bedding collection that includes sheets, a duvet, bed frame, pillows, mattress protector and a weighted blanket. They’ve sold more than 100,000 mattresses across the nation, and the founders have even appeared in TV’s Dragons Den to pitch investments.

A selection of mens Conair products

If you have a hunch that your special someone would be keen to receive grooming products for the holidays, Conair might be a good one stop shop. Conair is one of the largest manufacturers of hair care and lifestyle appliances from hair dryers, men’s grooming, hair and bead clippers, steamers, and more. Their latest tools include the Beard Designer, a trimmer with a patented cutting head.

eBay, meanwhile, is a supremely good choice to find anything under the sun for holiday gifts, as well. It might not be top of mind for shoppers, but it certainly should. One of the greatest features is that any search will reveal dozens of similar suggestions, to give you all the choices you need. And here’s a neat piece of trivia: eBay boasts the largest virtual storehouse of Star Wars products, memorabilia and merchandise in the galaxy. So for the space geek, or anyone else, the Force is strong at eBay.

And finally, indulgences are some of the best memories to be made.

Majesty’s Pleasure, a salon/spa with two locations in Toronto (Yorkville, and King West), was newly-renamed to remove “her,” to appeal to anyone. Yes, dudes and ladies can equally enjoy pampering themselves, looking sa-weet for the holiday season.

Pick from a selection of services that appeal to you, or the lady, like hair colour, manicure, pedicure, facials and massages. Just know: this is the epitome of class. The pedicure, for example, includes buffing, cuticle care, detox soak, exfoliation, heel refining, and hot towel. And we’ll tell you from experience, your toes and nails won’t ever look so pristine, and your fingertips will make it look like you do hand modeling. The icing on the cake? You can grab a beverage from their coffee bar or their alcoholic bar, and, munch on noshies, like croissants and pastries. And check out the gorgeous window view of downtown Toronto from the terrace!
