5 Fall Trends

1. Lose the Hood

Crewneck sweaters may take you back to the 80s, but they are definitely fall 2013. Go for a solid color. Don’t try for a print–no cartoon characters, please. Push up the sleeves and feel casual.

2. Tweedle Dee

Not just for the older men, tweed is for everyone. Pair it with the right collared shirt and tie, you’ll be upset you haven’t started to wear it until now. Think crayon colors to offset the tweed’s toned-down nature. Even go for a tweed coat.

3. Go for a Hike

You might not think hiking boots when you think of fashion. This fall, flash away. However, these boots, you wouldn’t actually hike in. They are the chic counterpart to the rugged style. Lace up and head out.

4. Grab and Wool

The perfect tie: wool. Forget the silk gleam. Keep a reserved wool tie to do the work. And why not when it works with every other fall trend?

5. Fifty Shades of Grey

Grey is having a moment this fall. Style a look with different tints and shades of grey and you’ll be doing it right. You can bring in a pop of colour with an accessory, but all grey will suffice.
