Lighter fluid charcoal fires suck—we’ve always said that. Fortunately, there’s an easier way: the BBQ dragon ($50). Basically, it blasts heated air at your charcoal, eventually causing them to combust. Eventually, by the way, is in about ten minutes. Also, you don’t have to stand there for said ten minutes: you just clip it to the side of your grill (or pizza oven, or fire pit, or whatever), and wait, preferably while having a beer.
