What’s with the trend of aviation in style recently? This isn’t even the first aviation-inspired chair we’ve come across, but we want it all the same.
As the name suggests, the B-52 Ejection Chair (inquire within for pricing) replicates the hardware you’d find in a B-52 Stratofortress; if you don’t own a copy of Jane’s, it’s the plane from Dr. Strangelove. The aluminium frame and ejection pin are the same as you’d find on the actual plane, though perhaps a bit buffed up. However, some allowances for the modern executive are made: the seats have better upholstery than the originals, the chair is on castors, which you wouldn’t find in an actual warplane, and puling the ejection pin sadly won’t do anything.
