1965 Porsche 904/6 Carrera GTS

The 904 marked the return of Porsche to sportcar racing, and the 904/6 was built to satisfy the demand of a Porsche-mad public. It’s not hard to see why: it’s a curvy, lightweight, sleek, elegant dart of a car. It has 190 hp, independent front suspension with double wishbones and coil springs, and a five speed gearbox. Oh, and one will be auctioned this September in London.

Bring at least one and a half million, though. This particular model is an ex-Porsche Works team car, finishing sixth in the 1965 Nurburgring 1000 km, entered the 1965 twenty-four hour Le Mans, and finished first in class at the 1967 twelve hours of Sebring. Know what? Bring two million.
