Contest Rules And Regulations

RULES & REGULATIONS:

These Rules & Regulations (the “Rules”) govern any contest (The “Contest”) running on www.Pursuit.ca (the “Site”). No purchase is necessary to enter the Contest. The act of entering the Contest constitutes acceptance of these Rules and the decision(s) of the Contest judge (the “Judge”).

CONTEST:

The date The Contest commences and the date that the contest closes can be found on the individual contest page.

ELIGIBILITY:

This Contest is open to residents of Canada, who are 19 years of age or over as at the time of entry, excluding employees, officers and directors of Ideon Media (the “Sponsor”), MapleMedia.ca, and Pursuit.ca. Any companies affiliated with Pursuit.ca or the Sponsor, representatives, dealers and agents of Pursuit.ca or the Sponsor, contest suppliers and the Judge, (collectively the “Contest Parties”) and those with whom any of them are domiciled whether related or not. The Contest is subject to all applicable federal, provincial and local laws and regulations and is voidable where prohibited by law.

HOW TO ENTER:

To be entered for a chance to win, visit the Contest landing page on the Site and fully complete and submit the Contest entry form. Entries will not be eligible if submitted by any method, which is not specified above, or if the entry is not received prior to the end of the Contest Period. There is a limit of one (1) entry per household, per day.

PRIZE:

Contest prize and value can be found on the individual contest page.

DRAW:

The day following the Contest close date, Pursuit.ca will randomly select one winner from those entries received during the Contest Period, whom will be eligible to win the prize. The selected entrant will be contacted following the end of the Contest Period. The draw will be held in Toronto, Ontario and will be made from all eligible entries received during the Contest Period.

The odds of winning will depend on the number of eligible entries received during the Contest Period.

GENERAL:

The selected contestant will be contacted by telephone or email by a representative of Pursuit.ca at the telephone number or email provided in the contestant’s entry. If a selected contestant cannot be reached within two (2) days of initial contact they will be disqualified and forfeit the Prize and another contestant may be randomly selected. This procedure will be repeated until a selected contestant is reached, and confirmed as a winner in accordance with these rules

Within 24 hours of being contacted, in order to be declared a winner, the selected contestant must: (a) correctly answer, unaided, a mathematical skill testing question posed by email at a mutually convenient time.

BEFORE BEING DECLARED A CONFIRMED WINNER, the selected entrant will be required to sign and return within ten (10) business days of notification the Sponsor’s declaration and release form, which (among other things):

Confirms compliance with these Rules;
Acknowledges acceptance of the Prize as awarded;
Releases the Contest Parties and each of their respective officers, directors, agents, representatives, successors and assigns (collectively, the “Releasees”) from any and all liability in connection with this Contest, his/her participation therein and/or the awarding and use/misuse of the Prize or any portion thereof; and
Agrees to the publication, reproduction and/or other use of his/her name, address, voice, statements about the Contest and/or photograph or other likeness without further notice or compensation, in any publicity or advertisement carried out by or on behalf of the Sponsor in any manner whatsoever, including print, broadcast or the internet. If the selected entrant:
Fails to correctly answer the skill-testing question;
Fails to return the properly executed Contest documents within the specified time; and/or
Cannot accept the Prize for any reason; then he/she will be disqualified (and will forfeit all rights to the Prize) and the Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole and absolute discretion, to randomly select an alternate eligible entrant from among the remaining eligible entries (in which case the foregoing provisions of this section shall apply to such new selected entrant).
In all matters relating to the promotion and awarding of the Prizes, the Judge’s rulings are final and without appeal. All entries that are incomplete, illegible, damaged, irregular, have been submitted through illicit means, or do not conform to or satisfy the Rules, may be disqualified by Pursuit.ca. Pursuit.ca takes no responsibility for lost, stolen, delayed, damaged, misdirected, late or destroyed entries, or for typographical or other production errors. Neither Pursuit.ca nor the Sponsors nor the Prize Suppliers are responsible for any errors or omissions in printing or advertising this Contest. All entries become property of Pursuit.ca and will not be returned to the contestants.

Pursuit.ca will use contestants’ personal information to administer the Contest, including contacting, announcing and promoting the prize winners. As well, if contestants have opted in, Pursuit.ca and the Sponsor and/or Prize Supplier may also use contestants’ personal information to keep contestants informed about other offers and promotions of Pursuit.ca and the Sponsor and/or Prize Supplier. Pursuit.ca assumes no responsibility for failure of the internet or the Site itself during the Contest Period, for any problems or technical malfunction of any telephone network or lines, computer on-line systems, servers, access providers, computer equipment, software, failure of any email or traffic congestion on the internet or any web-site, or any combination thereof, including any injury or damage to a contestant’s or any other person’s computer related to or resulting from accessing any material on the Site. Pursuit.ca reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to cancel or suspend the Contest should a virus, bug or other cause beyond its reasonable control corrupt the security or proper administration of the Contest. Any attempt to deliberately damage the Site or to undermine the legitimate operation of this Contest is a violation of the Rules. Should any such attempt be made, Pursuit.ca reserves the right to seek remedies and damages to the fullest extent permitted by law, including and not limited to, criminal prosecution.

Prizes must be accepted as awarded, are non-transferable and are not convertible into cash.

If the identity of a contestant is disputed, the authorized account holder of the email address submitted at the time of entry will be deemed to be the contestant. The individual assigned to the email address for the domain associated with the submitted email address is considered the authorized account holder. A selected contestant may be required to provide proof that he or she is the authorized account holder of the email address associated with the selected entry. All entries must be submitted from a valid email account that may be identified by reverse domain name search. The sole determinant of time for the purpose of receipt of a valid entry in this Contest will be subject to the Contest server machines.

This is a test
