We have yet to see a movie by Marty that we dislike. Mean Streets? Awesome. Taxi Driver? Brilliant. Goodfellas? Hey, guys, I found a wing. Age of Innocence? Okay, maybe he’s had some misfires, but they’re few and far between. Hell, the guy even directed The Last Waltz.
Spoke Art, San Francisco’s art space devoted to contemporary painting, recently arranged an all-Scorsese art thing in New York. In case you missed it (and will miss upcoming shows in San Francisco, Mexico City, London, and Sydney), here’s some of the good stuff.
