Samsung & the Big Game

In all seriousness, the NFL is hyper-vigilant about use of the words Super Bowl, NFL and Super Sunday when it comes to advertising, and they aren’t afraid to break out the lawyers. They even tried to trademark the phrase “the Big Game” once, but it wasn’t the sheer obnoxiousness of the claim that killed it, it was the fact that Stanford and Cal had to protect their own use of the phrase.

Also, isn’t it a bit odd that Samsung is mocking the use and abuse of patenting and trademarks?
