Ben Barrett-Forrest is one seriously knowledgeable (and seriously patient) man. He spent 140 hours creating this five-minute short video on typography, using 291 paper letters and taking 2,454 pictures. The result is exactly what you’d want from good design: a great deal of information presented in the simplest and most attractive way. And since we’re talking about good typography, there is indeed a joke about comic sans.
Of course, if five minutes about typography isn’t enough for you, you can always check out the feature-length Helvetica. Yeah.
