Luc Bourdon’s 2008 documentary about his home city of Montreal was created from clips of over 120 National Film Board of Canada films, painting perhaps the most detailed portrait of a city ever done. Famous figure and landmarks feature prominently, to be sure, but this is a film primarily about the city itself, coming of age.
