The gin and tonic is one of those simple marvels that’s nearly impossible to improve. Cold gin, carbonated tonic, fresh garnish, and bam—the perfect cocktail for the end of summer.
Enter the Gin Wheel ($500). It’s basically a lazy Susan turntable that specializes only in gin and tonics. It’s made of bespoke walnut atop a steel plate. At the centre is the slot for the bottle of gin, surrounded by ice. Parts of the top are removable, acting as cutting boards, and they reveal a place to store your botanicals and garnishes. The sides open too, revealing glassware, coasters, and bar tools (ice tongs, jigger, stirring spoon, paring knife); in short, everything you need to make a gin and tonic.
