Mixologist: Innis & Gunn Mulled Beer

Step aside, mulled wine—beer is better at everything, including mulling.


2 bottles of Innis & Gun Original
50ml bourbon
80g sugar
8 cloves
2 star anise
6 black peppercorns
1 cinnamon stick
5ml lemon juice
2 clementines, sliced


Warm the beer and bourbon slowly with all the aromatics. Do not boil. Add the lemon juice and clementine slices. Remove from head and infuse for fifteen to twenty minutes. Serve hot.
