Mixologist: Lo-Cal Cocktails

Reinventing yourself by hitting the gym and watching your calories? Good for you—that deserves a drink, and cocktail consultant Aaron Beaudoin has created couple featuring Molson Canadian 67 (because it has 67 calories—get it?!). After all, the best way to beat temptation is to give in—and this way, you won’t regret it the next time you face your scale.

Mexican Mule

1oz. Tromba Tequila Blanco
1 oz. fresh lime juice
9 oz. Molson Canadian 67
Sea salt rim
Lime wheel

Combine Tequila, lime juice, and ginger in a shaker with ice. Shake and strain into a sea salt-rimmed Collins style glass with ice. Top with MC67. Garnish with a lime wheel.

Canadian Double

1oz. Canadian Rye (make it a high rye—like CC 100% Rye)
4 dashes Angostura Bitters
3 orange zests
Half bottle MC 67

Combine Rye and bitters in a rocks glass with ice and top with MC67. Twist the three zests of orange over top, drop in and stir.
