Mixologist: Two Belvedere Vodka Martinis

Pursuant to our earlier remarks about martinis, here are a couple of easy to follow recipes that use Belvedere vodka, which has a slight, creamy rye taste.

Stirred

Ingredients
2.5 oz. Belvedere vodka
.25 oz. Noilly Prat vermouth
Lemon twist

Directions
Fill a mixing glass with ice cubes. Pour in vermouth, stir to coat ice. Drain the vermouth. Pour in Belvedere, then stir gently until your mixing glass begins to frost. Strain into a frozen martini glass and garnish with lemon twist.

Dry

Ingredients
2.5 oz. Belvedere vodka
.25 oz. Dolin Dry
Olive

Directions
Fill mixing glass with ice, then combine ingredients and stir until your mixing glass frosts. Strain into a frozen martini glass and garnish with an olive.
