In his latest piece for the Atlantic, Wayne Curtis travelled to Vancouver to see a growing trend in the city’s cocktailing: using tuning forks to stir cocktails (really, Vancouver?). The theory is that vibrations of the right frequency will do something to the drink’s molecules and enhance the drink’s flavour. Of course, that sounds like insanity.
So, in an effort to keep themselves honest, the Atlantic also had the bartender of Columbia Room test the theory.
Once again: really, Vancouver?
