According to repetition ad nauseam, 2000 calories is what the average adult needs to consume per day in order to maintain a healthy weight. This upsets people who aren’t sure what the word ‘average’ means.
Anyway, BuzzFeed put together this video after being inspired by this post on wiseGEEK, which is a collection of pictures of what 200 calories of X type of food looks like. Even if you’re not calorie counting (we sure aren’t), it’s still useful to know that one Cinnabon is equal to about a third of your daily intake.
