This is a hockey tribute montage by Tim Thompson, a former professional hockey player and a master at making us rub our eyes and pretend we’re not crying. He did a bunch for Hockey Night in Canada back when it was the CBC’s (example here), but Rogers hasn’t been doing many montages, perhaps because they’re bad at figuring out what people like. Note to Rogers: it’s stuff like this that we want to see.
