After a lengthy voting process, Pittsburgh Pirates superstar center fielder Andrew McCutchen has been voted by the fans to be the cover athlete of Sony’s upcoming MLB 13: The Show. Voted by Americans, that is.
Canadians also get a choice, if you consider selecting among three vaguely similar poses of Jose Bautista in mid-backswing “choice.” Hey, at least he’s wearing red in one.
It’s especially disappointing when you consider our baseball community had some inspiring visions that truly captured the spirit of the prior season:
