Gibi Dog Tracker

Is there anything more worrying than a missing dog? Probably, but we’re irresponsible bachelors who don’t need to care for anything but a dog, and that task just got a little easier thanks to the Gibi ($130). Basically, it’s a tracking device that you hook onto your dog’s existing collar. The battery lasts four to five days, and it sends a ping to your tracking software. You set up a few safe zones in the app based on where you expect your dog to be, and when your dog leaves any of the safe zones, you get an alert and can use the map to track down your dog. Oh, and it’s waterproof.
