One of the main problems in modern computing is built-in obsolescence. Xi3, a company currently in the news for teaming up with Valve for the “Steam Box”, is looking to change that with small computers that are modular and easily upgradable.
The Ikea shelves of computers, if you will, except without all the weirdly accented names.
