LibraryBox 2.0

Now that the NSA is reading everything (hi Mitch!), maybe it’s time to thing about a little digital security when sharing files over the net. That’s one the reasons behind LibraryBox 2.0 ($100), a neat little project on Kickstarter by Jason Griffey.

Essentially, LibraryBox is a little anonymous fileserver that can show files to any device with enabled wifi. It uses next to no power, so aside from plugging it into the wall, you can run it off a battery, a solar panel, or even a bicycle generator (should you be file sharing in the jungle, which is actually one of the uses of LibraryBox).
