In case you haven’t heard—Native Union makes cool stuff. That’s why we’re pretty excited about their new Jump Cable ($40), on Kickstarter now. Basically, it’s a combo backup battery and charging cable for your smartphone. You plug it in, it charges your phone, and when the smart circuitry in the Jump Cable detects that your phone is juiced up, it redirects power to it’s own battery, which can add nearly four hours of talking time to your iPhone 5. It’s also small enough to hold in your hand with your phone, in case you need to use it and power up at the same time.
