Sailing down stateside this summer? Well, in addition to all the stuff you already have on your boat, pick up this cool little app: SeaStatus ($free). It tells you wind speed, wind direction, weather conditions, temperature, sunrise, sunset, swell height, swell direction, swell period, water temperature, high tide, low tide, and has twenty-four hour forecast. It’s almost as good as Environment Canada.
