We’re a fan of all things Dyson (see here and here), and while we probably aren’t going to spend $650 on a desk lamp, we can appreciate the Dyson CSYS Task Light on an engineering level. The lamps LED lights last an amazing thirty-seven years, thanks to an innovative built-in cooling system. Other manufacturers probably won’t be replicating that feat for awhile, given that it took Dyson ten years to develop. However, one thing they could do is recognise (and adapt) the lamps three-axis glide motion. Seriously, why don’t more manufacturers do that?
