That’s right, this is no mere rock; that trick only worked on people in the 70s. Anyway, the Xtreme Life Landscape Stone ($200) has a tiny camera on-board. It’s motion-activated and can store up to twenty hours of footage, allowing you to maintain a sharp vigil on your house, or figure out which neighbour’s cat keeps tearing up your rosebushes. Oh, and it has enough of a battery charge to last a year . . . unless, presumably, there’s lots of motion at your house. As for the fake rock thing—don’t laugh. British intelligence did the same thing. Or maybe laugh. Whatever.
