Whatever happened to driving gloves? Back when life imitated (or aspired to, anyway) Bullitt and The Italian Job, glove boxes had gloves, not extremely thick owners manuals.
Admittedly, driving gloves are purely an indulgence if you’re not a professional driver. Still, we think that there’s something classy about the look, and terribly satisfying about the way they feel. Evidently, Christopher Fortich feels the same way. He’s launched a Kickstarter for a new pair of swanky, well-designed gloves, and the part of us who wishes we could drive the Nurburgring hopes that this happens.
