The way clothier Flint & Tinder sees it, why pay six bucks for a three-pack of underwear made in Thailand that’ll fall apart in a few months when you can get a pair that’ll last years, is made in America, and costs $20?
So far, betting that people will pay for quality has paid off; Flint & Tinder’s first kickstarter campaign (for aforementioned underwear) raised nearly $300,000 in 30 days, and now they’re back.
The new goal, which they’ve already shattered, is $50,000 for a hoodie that’s built for life.
