Presented here is the darling of the Paris auto show: a 1952 Jaguar XK120 Supersonic by Ghia. If the 1950s were about anything besides the Cold War and Elvis, it was jet planes. The Jet Age saw advances in aerospace and rocket technology trickle down to the automotive industry, and sure enough, style followed. The Supersonic was created by Ghia by (possibly) stretching aluminium over a chassis. There are three in the world.
