Lots of British automotive manufacturers are gone. Triumph. Reliant. Morris. Jensen. Austin-Healy. Hey, it’s a tough industry.
But British automotive manufacturing is back in a big way, and luxury producer Lyonheart wants to play a part. Hence the Lyonheart K ($450,000). It’s a hand-built homage to the E-Type, featuring carbon fibre panels over an aluminium chassis, a 550hp 5.0-litre supercharged V8, which can hit 100km/h in under four seconds. It comes in either a coupe or convertible.
