Take it from Toyota: you’ve got to snag ‘em while they’re young.
Toyota’s new Camatte 57s concept car is a three seat electric model that kids and parents can put together themselves. Although, in fairness, you’re only really attaching the fifty-seven individual body panels, and kids probably won’t “help” so much as “be present”, or even “hinder” this faux DIY project.
That said, we’re willing to admit that this car is more sophisticated than the pinewood soapbox derby racer we built with our dad way back when . . . but then again, at least we built the whole damn thing.
