Mixologist: 3 Canadian Club Classic Cocktails

Millionaire’s Manhattan

2 oz. CC 12 year old
.25 oz. Harvey’s Bristol cream
Dash of bing cherry juice
Bing cherries
Dash of whisky bitters

Fill a tall glass half way up with ice. Chill a lowball glass. To the tall glass, add whisky, sherry, cherry juice (look for real cherries, like these), and whisky bitters (like these). Shake. Strain into the chilled lowball glass, and garnish with a couple of cherries.

CC Old Fashioned

2 oz. CC reserve
Orange slices
Teaspoon of sugar
Angostura bitters
Bing cherries

Muddle the orange slices and sugar in a shaker. Add a dash of bitters. Add a few ice cubes and whisky. Shake vigorously, at least thirty seconds to break down the sugar. Strain into a lowball glass. Garnish with cherries.

CC Whisky Sour

2 oz. Canadian Club
Juice of half a lemon
.5 tsp. sugar

Half fill a cocktail shaker with ice. Add whisky, lemon juice, sugar. Shake vigorously. Strain into a lowball glass. Add crushed ice and a cherry.
