Between the years 2005 and 2011, Spain’s elBulli became the world’s most important restaurant, with chef Ferran Adria becoming renown in the culinary world as a genius and legend. Now, this seven-volume book catalogue the inner workings of the restaurant, featuring 2,700 pages, 1,400 colour photographs, and 700 recipes. It’s not quite the same as visiting the iconic restaurant, but now that it’s closed, elBulli 2005-2011 ($540) seems like the closest we’ll get.
