Ready to graduate from coffee snob to coffee aficionado? Then it’s time to start grinding your own beans (for the record, roasting your own beans would make you a fanatic, and growing your own beans would make you nuts, supposing that you’re doing so in Canada).
Anyway, check out the HG One Grinder ($900). It’s a simple design, easy to use, and comes with a few different burrs so you can produce the grounds you want. There’s apparently a bit of a learning curve—since you are doing this by hand—but love of espresso should make that worthwhile.
