For years, Le Creuset has been the name for serious cooks everywhere. Their enamelled cast iron comes as French ovens, skillets, saucepans, and more. But there’s always been a little bit of a gap in their offerings. See, colours like soleil and Caribbean are all well and good . . . for our girlfriends . . . but we need something a touch less whimsical. Enter liquorice, otherwise know as black. Le Creuset’s entire line of enamelled cast iron ($18 – $440) can now be had in black. Just visit one of their flagship stores (Sherway Gardens in Toronto, Carrefour Laval in Montreal, and Chinook Centre in Calgary), or a fine cookware store near you.
