Don’t want to settle for spiked store-bought eggnog, but can’t be bothered to whip up a twelve-hour Martha Stewart monstrosity? We have a quick and easy solution right here:
1 heaping tsp. brown sugar
1-2 dashes Angostura bitters
1 full egg
2 oz. apple cider
2 oz. Appleton Estate Reserve Jamaica Rum
Build ingredients, save cinnamon and nutmeg, over ice in a shaker and shake hard for twenty seconds. Strain into large chilled rocks glass or brandy snifter and grate nutmeg and cinnamon on the top of the drink.
