It’s national Martini Day, and while we have plenty of thoughts on the perfect martini, sometimes we don’t want something perfect; we want something dirty. So here you go: how to make a dirty martini. We used Grey Goose, but you can use any vodka of comparable quality.
Ingredients
2 oz. vodka
2 oz. chilled dry vermouth
6 Mediterranean olives (4 for the martini, 2 for garnish)
2/3 oz. olive juice
Directions
Pit four olives and muddle with the olive brine in the base of a Boston glass. Add vodka and dry vermouth. Top with cubed ice and stir. Fine strain into a chilled cocktail glass. Garnish with a pair of Mediterranean olives on a pick.
