Since we’re celebrating world-class vermouth, we may as well give you a special cocktail to go with it, so here’s the French negroni. If you’re a Francophile, use a gin like G’Vine Gin Floraison; otherwise we like Death’s Door Gin or Eau Claire’s Parlour Gin. You can us Campari instead of Gentiane liqueur if you really must—but at that point, you’re just making a regular negroni not a French one.
Ingredients
1 oz. La Quintinye Vermouth Royal Blanc
1 oz. gin
1 oz. Gentiane liqueur
Directions
Stir all ingredients with ice and strain into chilled glass. Garnish with a lemon zest.
