Courtesy of chef Michael Symon (you’ve seen him on Iron Chef America), this rye cocktail is spicy, robust, and avoids the sickly sweet flavours of oh-so-many cocktails.
Ingredients
1 1/2 parts Knob Creek rye
1/2 sliced orange
1/2 sprig rosemary
1/2 part sugar
1 part club soda
Directions
Muddle the orange, rosemary and sugar thoroughly in the bottom of a shaker. Combine with Knob Creek Rye, add ice, and shake vigorously. Strain over ice and float with club soda.
