Mixologist: Pitú Caipirinha

Need a tropical drink to celebrate your new favourite liquor with a crayfish logo, Pitú Cachaça? Well, the caipirinha is to cachaça what the Manhattan is to rye . . . or the tequila slammer is to tequila. Don’t slam this, though. There’s a lot of lime.

Ingredients

1 ¾ oz. Pitú Cachaça
Half a fresh lime, cut into wedges
2 tsp. white sugar
Crushed ice

Directions

Place the fresh lime wedges (reserving one for a garnish) into a rocks glass and add sugar. Muddle the lime and sugar. Fill rocks glass with ice. Add Pitú Cachaça. Stir ingredients until the ice starts to melt a little. Garnish with a limb slice.
