Mixologist: Sake Seechu

It’s World Sake Day today—the date having to do with the fact that it’s the start of the sake brewing season—so why not celebrate with a cocktail courtesy of Michael Tremblay over at ki modern Japanese?


3 oz. Gekkeikan Traditional, heated
1 oz. Elderflower cordial


Heat the sake by pouring the sake in a ceramic mug, place the ceramic mug into a half-filled pot of water, and heat the water over the stove. Boiling isn’t necessary. Pour the sake into a lowball glass, add the Elderflower cordial, and enjoy.
