Remember that time that Coke Zero made a “viral ad” where actors pretending to be regular people had to do a mini staged James Bond-esque chase scene, whereafter they and all the extras on set were rewarded with Coke?
Well, Molson decided that it would be fun if something like that for realsies (according to them, anyway), so they built a beer fridge that would only open when shown a Canadian passport (courtesy of simple webcam inside a slot) and trucked it around Europe, hoping to find a Canadian generous enough to share free beer with Europeans and gullible enough to stick their passport in random machines.
And that’s how you sell beer—nationalism.
