Earlier this week Jose Bautista tweeted that he had received a MLB Lifetime Pass, granting him and a guest free access to any game at any ballpark for the rest of his life. These lifetime passes, given out by the commissioner’s office, are extremely rare and are only given to those with “long and meritorious service” to the league.
Not only do these lifetime passes look amazing, they have the power to open the doors of any ballpark at anytime. I can’t think of a better thing to have in your wallet if you’re a baseball fan.
All you have to do for the commissioner’s office to notice you is be an elite baseball player or become a respected umpire. And with the way umpire’s are calling games these days (here, here, and here, just to name a few), that might take awhile.
