If you know any Toronto Maple Leafs fans, you’ve probably heard (ad nauseum) that they’ve clinched a playoff spot. The fun doesn’t end there, though: some fans want the CN Tower to turn red every time Toronto scores a goal.
The petition at Change.org has nearly 8,000 signatures so far, but it’s stated goal is 50,000—we aren’t sure why. The CN Tower’s operations manager could do it fairly easily—remotely, even—but it’s still not clear weather or not this will happen, though fans of other teams have noted that Toronto may not need a goal light at all. We’ll see, Boston.
