There’s a new coffee machine specifically designed for tired airplane passengers with no spare change. Instead, this coffee machine gives out free coffee at the sign of a yawn.
According to TIME, the coffee machine is outfitted with facial recognition technology and when someone stands in front of the machine and yawns, it starts making coffee.
The machine, from the Dutch coffee company Douwe Egberts, was tested in South Africa’s O.R. Tombo International Airport where there’s more than a few sleepy travellers.
If Douwe Egberts wants to get ambitious, the coffee machine, would no doubt be a success in airports around the world. And why stop there? Hospitals, hotels and home kitchens everywhere could use it.
