Netflix Releases New ‘Stranger Things 2’ Trailer

Just 13 days from the Stranger Things 2 season premiere, Netflix has released its second and final trailer for the massively popular series—ironically on Friday the 13th.

The second season takes place in 1984 in Hawkins, Indiana. The community is still recovering from the Demogorgon’s attack and the actions of the Hawkins Lab. While Will Byers (Noah Schnapp) is now safe, a new tentacled creature is threatening the middle schooler and his friends and family.

The trailer opens with Eleven (Millie Bobby Brown) walking through the woods on a snowy night. She finds a box, opens it, and removes a mysterious artifact from inside.

Strange things are taking place in Hawkins, and nobody knows why.

“These are not nightmares. It’s happening,” Chief Jim Hopper tells Will’s mother Joyce (Winona Ryder), who was told by doctors that her son’s hallucinations “were all in his head.”

The community’s only hope appears to be Will. Can he prevent the world from ending on Judgement Day? With his army of friends and family, there’s hope.

Stranger Things 2 debuts on October 27th.
