Official Rules and Regulations

- 1. Contest Period:
The Contest start date is 9:00:01 a.m. EST, June 26, 2014 and the Contest closing date is 11:59:59 p.m. EST, on July 15, 2014 (the “Contest Period”). Contest entries are accepted until 11:59:59 p.m. EST, on July 15, 2014. - 2. Method of Contest Entry:
Contestants can enter online at www.DailyXY.com, by clicking on the “SUBSCRIBE TO OUR DAILY NEWSLETTER” button (above).
a. Complete the online form fields correctly (this information will be used to contact the winner).
b. Each submission will earn one (1) entry for consideration to the prize judging. Contest entries are limited to one (1) per person. - 3. Prizes:
There will be five (5) Prizes available to be won, each consisting of one gift card from the winner’s choice of Shell, Amazon. ca or the FIFA Gift store valued at $100.00 CDN. Approximate total retail value of the five prizes is $500.00 CDN. - 4. Winners Selection:
Five (5) finalists will be chosen by a panel of judges as selected by DailyXY.com, from all current subscribers based on a random draw. Any duplicate or fraudulent entries, deemed as such by the contest Sponsor, will be removed and will not count towards a finalist position. - 5. Declaration and Releases:
The selected winner will be contacted by telephone or email to be qualified and required to sign and return a Release Form, confirming compliance with the official contest rules and if selected as a winner, acceptance of the prize as awarded.
All 5 finalists will be contacted between July 16, 2014 to July 26, 2014. If a selected entrant cannot be qualified within this timeframe, the entry will be disqualified and the next eligible entry will be selected until all prizes have been awarded.
Winners will be notified by DailyXY.com to make arrangements for the awarding of their respective prizes. Each potential winner will be required to sign a standard Declaration of Compliance with Rules, Publicity and Liability Release form and consent in the form and manner provided, consenting to the use of their name, city or province/territory and/or photograph and/or video, without further compensation, in any publicity carried out by DailyXY.com and/or its affiliates, advertising and promotional agencies relating to this contest, including posting to a website and releasing DailyXY.com, the contest organizer and independent contest organization, its promotional agencies and each of the other prize sponsors and their respective, affiliates, directors, officers, employees and agents, from any liability relating to this contest or any prizes.
If a potential winner fails to sign and return the required documents within 72 hours of receiving it by fax or email, DailyXY.com reserves the right to void that entry and select another eligible entrant until the prizes are awarded. Any taxes, fees or incidental charges applicable to any prizes shall be the sole responsibility of the winners of that prize. - 6. Eligibility:
This Contest is only open to residents of Canada (not including residents of Québec Province) who are 18 years of age or older. Co-signors and guarantors of the above mentioned Qualifying Products, Accounts and Services do not qualify. Contest is closed to employees of DailyXY.com, the prize sponsors of this Contest and each of their respective independent contest agencies and promotional agencies, or anyone domiciled with any of the foregoing employees. - 7. Substitution of Prizes:
DailyXY.com and each prize sponsor reserve the right, in the event that a prize or any component of a prize cannot be awarded as described for any reason, to substitute a similar prize or component of a prize of equal or greater value without liability. - 8. Decisions Final/Property of DailyXY.com:
By entering, each entrant agrees to abide by these contest rules and regulations and the decisions of DailyXY.com and the independent contest organization, which are final. All entries become the property of DailyXY.com. Entrants are encouranged to enter our correspondence list for a chance to win. - 9. Lost/Stolen Entries/Cancelling Contest:
DailyXY.com, and each of its affiliates, is not responsible for entries that may be lost, illegible, irregular, misdirected, delayed or not received. DailyXY.com and each of its affiliates, will not be responsible for telephone, technical, operational, network, on-line, electronic, computer hardware or software failures of any kind, misdirected, stolen, incomplete, garbled or delayed Internet/e-mail, computer or telephone transmissions on account of technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any Web site, or any combination thereof, including any damage to an entrant’s or any other person’s computer related to or resulting from participation in or downloading any materials relating to this Contest.
If, for any reason, any portion of this Contest is not capable of running as planned or if the administration, security, fairness, integrity, or proper conduct of this Contest is corrupted or adversely affected, including without limitation by reason of infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures or any other causes beyond its control, DailyXY.com reserves the right to cancel, terminate, modify (including extending the Contest Period) or suspend the Contest without individual notice. Any such notice will be posted on the website located at www.DailyXY.com. - 10. Quebec Residents:
This contest is not open to residents of Québec Province.
For all other participants, any litigation must be initiated in the City of Toronto, Ontario, Canada. - 11. Laws/Currency:
This Contest is subject to all applicable federal, provincial and municipal laws and regulations in Canada. This Contest is void where prohibited or otherwise restricted by law. All currency indicated in these Contest rules is in Canadian dollars. - 12. Privacy:
By entering this Contest, you consent to DailyXY.com, its promotional agencies and independent contest organizers, storing and using the personal information submitted with your entry for the purpose of administering this contest and prizes, including posting to a potential winners website or otherwise. We may communicate with you through various channels, including telephone, email, online or mail, using the contact information you have provided. You acknowledge that as a result of such sharing they may advise us of those products or services provided. We will respect your preferences otherwise recorded with us.
