Microsoft Word and other word processors make our lives easier (and make us look smarter) by quickly correcting our spelling, or at least telling us something is wrong. But in the real world, with a pen in your hand, you have no chance of spelling words like “onomatopoeia” on the first try. But lucky for us, a company has created a pen that corrects spelling.
The super-pen created by the German company Lernstift vibrates whenever it detects you’ve made a mistake. It even vibrates twice when you’ve made a grammatical error. The pen has motion sensors, Wifi and even a mini Linux computer inside it to read what you are writing, notice it is wrong and tell you about it.
The project is currently on Kickstarter, and the pen currently works in German and English, but will soon feature quite a few more languages. We’d get one, but we’re afraid it would explode at the sight of our signature.
