Enter Birdi ($120). It monitors the air quality in your home, including things like temperature, pollen, pollution, dust, and staleness, sending all this information to an app on your phone. It’s also a carbon monoxide detector and a smoke detector, helpfully sending this info to your phone too. That way, in case you burn your bacon and set the damn thing off, you can just regain silence with a tap to your phone. We’d buy it for that reason alone.
