We’ve featured a few keyless lock systems here on DailyXY, but this is the first keyless and phoneless lock system we’ve seen. It’s exactly what it sounds like: you touch your finger to the screen, your door unlocks. You can use it with your phone if you want to—say, to grant people temporary keys—but it’ll work just fine with a fingerprint.
