If you’re redecorating and want to move a few steps away from what’s conventional, check out Benclif Designs. They take vintage, non-functional appliances and turn them into light sources, whether they were originally lamps or not. They have your typical industrial sconce turned light, but they also do your less-than-typical floating teacup light, or you zero fan light. They don’t come cheap, though: be prepared to drop a couple hundred bucks.
